Building Haiku with Jam¶

The Haiku buildsystem is based on Jam. Jam was originally developped by Perforce as an improved alternative to Make. Unfortunately, Perforce has discontinued the original version of Jam, and several incompatible forks now exists. As a result, we provide our own version of Jam, and other versions cannot be used to build Haiku.
