Two Sided Printing

BinkJet now supports two sided printing. Since you have a DeskJet 900 series printer or a PhotoSmart printer, you have two choices for two sided printing: Automatic and Manual. Automatic two sided printing uses the two sided printing module that came with your printer or that is available as an option. Manual two sided printing requires you to flip the pages after the odd pages of your document have been printed.

Automatic

In order to use automatic two sided printing, you must make sure the automatic two sided printing module is attached to the back of your printer.

You should then select Page Setup... from the application you are using to print. Select Two Sided safe margins from the Setup tab. By selecting this option, you are telling the driver to notify your printing application of the smaller printable area that is a result of automatic two sided printing. If you do not select Two Sided safe margins, BinkJet will have to scale down the contents of your page to fit within the smaller printable area.

Then, in the BinkJet Print Dialog, you need to check the Print two sided box that you will find on the Print tab.

Wait for your printer to stop printing, and then remove the pages from the output tray. Follow the diagram in the alert and reinsert the pages into the input tray and then click Continue.

The printer will then print the even pages of your document.
