Langauges
Refraction provides a simple and easy way to creat and manage multiple Localizations.
Useing the YLanguageClass (bebits) and storing its langauge strings in
plain text file makes translating Infeno to your favorit langauge verry easy. To
install new languages just place them in the <Refraction>/Languages directory.
Then from the drop down menu you can select the language of choice. Refraction does not
need to be restarted for these changes to take affect, but due to the complexety of
some dialogs and such, most of the time the full effect of your langauge change will
need a restart of Refraction (plans to change this in the distant future).
Snap Bar to Doc
Checking this will cause the Tool bar to follow the current document. It will automaticly
move the toolbar window to line up with the top left side of the document your
are working on. If unchecked the toolbar will be left in whatever position the user
puts it. It is worthwhile noteing that Refraction uses mutiple settings for differant
screen resolutions, thus if you place the bar in one place on a 800x600 screen it will
be differant than wher you place it on a 1600x1200 screen. This feature also appliew
to tool config window and all floaters.

Undo in steps
The undo system is built to give the user the most control over how they feel things
should be done. The default (unchecked) way is to undo action in full. Thus if you
draw a line it will undo the entire line. However if you check this box it will undo
the line in sectioins (verry small sections). This alows the user to back out of
a operation slowly.
Onload
This selection box will let you choose what Refraction does after it boots up. By default
it will open a New Image dialog box (like most other editors). However you can set
it to open the Open Image dialog box if you use that more oftern. Or, if your like
some of use who just cant deside, you can have Infenro do Nothing once open.
Background fill size
Because there are so many screen resolutions and because each user 'likes things
differant' this setting will allow you to configure the default checker size seen
in the background of images. Also it will let you configure What the High/Loc colors
are of the checkers. The 3rd color swatch will alow you to further configre the
surounding area of the image, this can be quite usefull to artist who are conserned
about how colors interact with each other depending on there suroundings.
Clipboard count
Refraction by default uses the system clipboard. However you can add 1 or more
Refraction Clipboards. These clipboards work exactly like the system one but are
local only to Refraction. This alows power usesrs to clip out sever areas at a
time without destroying the old data.
Grid Snap
This tells infernos mouse handler to snap all mouse movements to a grid. The user
can spesify the grid size of choice. This is quite usefull for doing web graphics
where strait lines are needed some times.
Filter Action
Refraction Filter can run in several modes. They can filter the currnet selection,
ignore the selction and filter the whole image, or either of the two but create a
new image with the resulting data. This action can be changes live when running
GUI based filters. However non-GUI filters need the defualt action set here.
